23-year-old and other’s outstanding performance at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s owners view as a sellable asset.

According to reports, Conor Gallagher is still one of the players Chelsea could consider selling.

According to Football.london, there are Blues hierarchy members who think it would make sense to let the England international go.

This is the case even though both the player and Mauricio Pochettino are hoping against a transfer happening. Gallagher is thought to be the best candidate for this position, but Chelsea fans would not approve of any transfer and would likely see another academy graduate leave.

Tottenham is interested in Gallagher this month, but a deal seems unlikely. In light of the recent injuries to Postecoglou’s team, chairman Daniel Levy decided it was imperative to allocate funds for new players this month.

In a £26.7 million deal, the Lilywhites have already acquired Radu Dragusin, a center-back for Genoa, with Djed Spence joining the team on loan.

It follows Pochettino’s declaration that Gallagher’s Chelsea future will be decided by both the player and the team. Prior to the window opening, he said at a press conference:

“As I mentioned earlier, the decision in this case is made by the player and the club; no coach can really discuss it with them.
