“Jack Grealish Reveals Hilarious Reason He’d Never Let Bukayo Saka Babysit His Newborn!”

As Jack Grealish embraces his new role as a father, he was recently asked a lighthearted question: which of his England teammates he’d trust the least to watch over his newborn daughter ahead of their Nations League clash with Greece.

Grealish didn’t hesitate to share his thoughts, humorously singling out Bukayo Saka as the last person he’d call for babysitting duties. “I’m going to go with Saka,” Grealish joked in an interview with BBC 5 Live. “I just reckon he’d be sloppy, you know, falling asleep and that.”

Grealish and Saka have forged a close bond playing together for England since 2020, sharing the highs of reaching the Euro 2020 final and competing in major tournaments. But when it comes to childcare, Grealish seems to believe Saka might take things a bit too easy!

Grealish’s partner, Sasha Atwood, gave birth to their daughter, Mila Rose Grealish, on September 27. Just days after welcoming his little girl, Grealish was back on the field, starting for Manchester City in their 1-1 draw against Newcastle United. Atwood shared her joy online, calling the birth “the most special moment” of her life as she introduced Mila to the world with a heartfelt black-and-white photo.

When asked who he would trust the most to look after baby Mila, Grealish didn’t miss a beat. “Harry Kane, I think,” he said, noting the England captain’s maturity and dependability. “It’s quite a young team, so I wouldn’t put it on any of the young lads… Harry’s so reliable. One of the oldest lads, so yeah, I’d go with Harry.”

Grealish also mentioned he’d likely turn to Jordan Pickford or Declan Rice for parenting advice, explaining: “I’d go with Pickford. [I’m] quite close with him. You know what, actually, maybe Dec as well. Maybe Dec or Jordan.”

As England prepares for their match against Greece on Thursday, both teams remain unbeaten in their Nations League campaigns. Interim coach Lee Carsley is looking to extend his winning streak in a bid to secure the permanent managerial role following Gareth Southgate’s departure. After Greece, England will take on Finland away on Sunday before heading into the next international break in November.
