“‘I Was Just Pressing, Then It Happened’—Oscar Bobb Reveals the Shocking Moment He Fractured His Leg in Man City Training!”

Manchester City’s Rising Star Oscar Bobb Opens Up on Summer Leg Injury and His Path to Recovery

Oscar Bobb, Manchester City’s promising young talent, recently shared details about the leg fracture that sidelined him just as he was poised for a breakout season with the Premier League champions.

Bobb, a standout during City’s U.S. pre-season tour, had fans and critics excited after an impressive showing, which followed a memorable game-winning goal against Newcastle the previous season. This momentum, however, was abruptly halted when news surfaced before City’s Premier League opener against Chelsea that Bobb had suffered a serious training injury—a fractured bone in his leg.

In an exclusive interview with Manchester City’s official podcast, Bobb described the unlucky incident: “I was pressing, and then my foot got stuck, slipped with the other one, sort of fell back on my leg. It wasn’t too painful, it was just annoying.”

As for his recovery, the 21-year-old made it clear he’s focused on a full comeback rather than rushing his return. “My objective is just to get back as strong as possible, not as soon as possible,” Bobb explained. “So it might take a few more months, but then I’ll be happy.”

In Bobb’s absence, City’s attack has seen new adjustments, with Savinho stepping up to fill the right-wing role. Pep Guardiola has previously hinted at Bobb’s versatility as a key backup option, especially when resting Erling Haaland. The club eagerly anticipates his return, as he promises to bring depth and creativity across various attacking positions.
