“Man City Set to Steal £50M Star Martin Zubimendi from Liverpool with Major Transfer Boost!”

Manchester City have received a promising update in their pursuit of Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, as the January transfer window approaches.

Rumors have swirled for weeks linking City to Zubimendi, a Spain international, who has been on the club’s radar since Rodri’s ACL injury sidelined him for most of the season. With Rodri likely out for several months, City may turn to Zubimendi to fill the defensive midfield role in January.

Liverpool previously showed strong interest in Zubimendi over the summer, but the midfielder opted to stay at his boyhood club Real Sociedad—at least until the New Year. Now, a new development may play in City’s favor, as reports suggest that Zubimendi is warming to the idea of a Premier League move.

According to The Sun, Zubimendi has reconsidered his future in La Liga and now appears open to joining the Premier League. As a result, Manchester City are closely monitoring his situation, with plans to activate the £50.3 million release clause in his contract come January.

It’s unclear if Liverpool will reignite their interest in Zubimendi after their unsuccessful summer attempt, but City’s willingness to meet the release clause could give them an advantage in securing the highly-rated midfielder.

This season, Zubimendi has remained a key player for Sociedad, making 16 appearances with one goal and two assists, playing full matches in nearly every outing.
