Through 22 races in the 2024 Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota, nine different drivers claimed victories, making significant moves on the all-time wins list. Notably, three of these drivers were first-time winners, further refreshing the list, which now features 18 names. Here’s a breakdown of the standout drivers in 2024:

Cannon McIntosh (Rank: 1 / Wins: 11) — At the start of the season, McIntosh sat fourth on the all-time wins list with just five Xtreme Outlaw Series victories. However, the 21-year-old from Bixby, OK, doubled his total, claiming six wins across 22 races. Starting with a victory at the Southern Illinois Center, McIntosh added more wins at 81 Speedway, Atomic Speedway, Doe Run Raceway, Spoon River Speedway, and Arrowhead Speedway, ultimately reaching the top of the all-time wins list with 11 wins.

Chase McDermand (Rank: 2 / Wins: 8) — McDermand, who had dominated the previous season with six wins, slipped to second on the all-time list after just one victory in 2024. The 24-year-old from Springfield, IL, scored his eighth career Xtreme Outlaw Series win on the eve of his 24th birthday. In addition to his win, he also captured the Whitz Racing Products Quick Time Award in qualifying, winning his heat race and leading every lap in the main event.

Zach Daum (Rank: 2 / Wins: 8) — The inaugural Xtreme Outlaw Midget champion, Daum surged to second place on the wins list with two victories in 2024. The 33-year-old from Pocahontas, IL, earned his first win of the season at Millbridge Speedway in May before securing another at Jacksonville Speedway in October, marking his seventh career Series win.

Karter Sarff (Rank: 4 / Wins: 6) — The 21-year-old from Mason City, IL, had a breakout year, claiming four victories in 2024. This performance moved him up to fourth on the all-time wins list. His season included a win at US 36 Raceway in April, Millbridge Speedway in May, and a sweep of both races at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in August.

Ryan Timms (Rank: 5 / Wins: 4) — A standout in 2024, Timms increased his career total from one to four wins. The 17-year-old from Oklahoma City, OK, scored his first victory of the year at the Illini 100 weekend at Farmer City Raceway in April, followed by wins at Atomic Speedway and Spoon River Speedway.

Ashton Torgerson (Rank: 6 / Wins: 3) — In his rookie season, Torgerson recorded three wins, marking an impressive start to his career. The 17-year-old from Glendale, AZ, grabbed victories at Farmer City Raceway, Humboldt Speedway, and Coles County Speedway, moving up to sixth on the all-time wins list.

Gavin Miller (Rank: 6 / Wins: 3) — Despite an injury-riddled start to the season, Miller bounced back strongly to secure his third career Series win at Jacksonville Speedway. The 17-year-old from Allentown, PA led nearly every lap in the final race of 2024, tying with Torgerson for sixth on the wins list.

First-Time Winners:

Among the nine different winners in 2024, Thomas Meseraull and Kale Drake were the only non-full-time drivers to win. The 43-year-old veteran Meseraull won the season opener at the Southern Illinois Center, while 19-year-old rookie Drake triumphed at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex, securing his win with a last-lap pass on teammate Taylor Reimer.
