Hocevar’s Rapid Rise
Michigan native Carson Hocevar continues to make waves in NASCAR. After a stellar 2024 campaign where he claimed the Rookie of the Year honors, Hocevar tallied one top-five, six top-10 finishes, and 13 top-15 finishes. His best performance came with a career-best third-place finish at Watkins Glen International.
Reflecting on the partnership, Hocevar shared his excitement:
“I’m excited to continue our partnership with Zeigler Automotive Group after a successful rookie season. They’ve been such a great support group since day one for me and the No. 77 team. I’m looking forward to continuing to build our partnership on and off the track and can’t wait to take the Zeigler Chevrolet to Victory Lane.”
Hocevar, who made his NASCAR Cup Series debut in 2023 at World Wide Technology Raceway, has shown consistent growth. He is the third Michigan-born driver to claim the Rookie of the Year title, joining the ranks of Johnny Benson (1996) and Erik Jones (2017).
A Partnership Built on Excellence
Zeigler Automotive Group has been a mainstay in NASCAR since 2019 and operates 84 franchises across 41 locations in the Midwest, representing top domestic and international automotive brands. The partnership also highlights Spire Motorsports, a growing force in NASCAR’s premier series. The team, led by Jeff Dickerson and T.J. Puchyr, continues to build competitive momentum across both the Cup Series and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.
