Live Feed: Chase Burda Set for ARCA Road to Daytona After ASA/CRA Super Series Triumph
As an added reward for clinching the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Championship, Chase Burda, a rising star from Lapeer, Michigan, will once again participate in the ARCA Racing Series Road to Daytona on January 9th and 10th at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. This opportunity marks Burda’s second appearance at the iconic high banks, following his 2023 participation after finishing as runner-up in the series standings behind Giovannie Ruggiero, who already had an ARCA commitment at the time.
ARCA Road to Daytona: A Launchpad for Talent
The ARCA Road to Daytona program, established in 2010 by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA), serves as a gateway for local and regional racers to experience the thrill of racing at Daytona. The Champion Racing Association (CRA) has been a vital partner in the initiative since its inception. Notable alumni include former ASA/CRA Super Series Champion Greg Van Alst, who utilized the program to elevate his career, culminating in a 2023 ARCA National Series win at Daytona. Van Alst recently secured a deal with Joey Gase Motorsports for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, exemplifying the program’s potential to propel racers to greater heights.
Burda’s 2024 Success Story
The 2024 season proved pivotal for Burda. He aimed to secure back-to-back JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance titles but fell just short. Despite the setback, he showcased his talent with a victory at Flat Rock Speedway in the VanDoorn Racing Development 125. His consistent performance included three top-five finishes and five top-10s, ultimately earning him the ASA/CRA Super Series Championship.
For the 2025 Road to Daytona, Burda joins an elite group of 70 regional and local racers from across the country. Among his peers are Dustin Smith, the ASA Southern Super Series Rookie of the Year; Zachary Tinkle, the 2019 Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Champion and 2023 ARCA Menards East Rookie of the Year; and Ty Fredrickson, a fellow Kulwicki Driver Development Program participant and champion.
Countdown to Daytona
The Road to Daytona program will take place over two action-packed days, Thursday and Friday, January 9th and 10th. Drivers will get behind the wheel of cars prepared by Andy Hillenburg’s Fast Track Racing, offering them a chance to showcase their skills on one of the most prestigious tracks in motorsports.
