As of the latest available information, the University of Oklahoma is set to pay its assistant football coaches a total of $7,115,000 in annual salaries, including retention and signing bonuses. This figure ranks ninth among assistant coach payrolls in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), placing Oklahoma behind programs such as Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Texas, Mississippi, Kentucky, Texas A&M, and Tennessee.

The highest-paid assistant coach is offensive coordinator Drew Arbuckle, who is set to earn $1.5 million for the 2025 season. Offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh follows with a salary of $1.2 million for the same period.

These figures pertain to the 10 primary assistant coaches, specifically coordinators and position coaches, and do not include compensation for football analysts or strength coaches. For instance, strength coach Jerry Schmidt is paid $700,000, which ranks sixth among his peers.
