A’ja Wilson’s Signature Nike A’One Sells Out in Minutes
South Carolina legend A’ja Wilson just dropped her first signature shoe with Nike — the Nike A’One — and fans wasted no time grabbing a pair. The highly anticipated sneaker debuted for public sale on Tuesday and sold out in under five minutes.
Although the initial release vanished almost instantly, fans may get another chance soon. Select Foot Locker stores and online retailers are expected to restock by the end of the week.
This level of demand was almost expected given Wilson’s superstar status. A dominant force in the WNBA, she’s a three-time MVP, two-time league champion, and two-time Olympic gold medalist. She also holds the distinction of being the first woman ever featured on the cover of EA Sports’ NBA 2K franchise, and she’s a New York Times best-selling author.

Before turning pro, Wilson was a hometown icon in Columbia, South Carolina. A Heathwood Hall graduate and the No. 1 recruit in the 2014 class, she exceeded every expectation during her time with the Gamecocks. Wilson became a four-time All-American, the SEC’s first-ever three-time Player of the Year, SEC Defensive Player of the Year, and a National Player of the Year. She also led South Carolina to its first national championship and still holds school records for both points scored and blocked shots.
Fans will have another chance to cheer on Wilson soon, as she leads the Las Vegas Aces into the 2025 WNBA season opener on Saturday, May 17. The defending champions will face off against the New York Liberty in a marquee showdown at 1:00 p.m. ET on ABC, with streaming also available on the ESPN app
