The spring transfer portal has officially closed — and LSU wrapped it up with a bang. The Tigers secured a huge defensive piece in Houston safety A.J. Haulcy, one of the most sought-after defenders on the market.
After LSU’s November victory over Oklahoma, head coach Brian Kelly delivered a bold promise: “We’re taking receipts… we’ll see you at the national championship.” Now, with the portal moves complete, it’s clear why he made such a confident statement.
Haulcy, who earned First-Team All-Big 12 honors last season, brings impressive production with 5 interceptions and 74 tackles. His addition could be the final piece in solidifying LSU’s defensive backfield.
