Ta’Niya Latson, the NCAA’s top scorer last season, is poised to make a massive impact at South Carolina following her transfer from Florida State. The explosive guard, who averaged 25.2 points per game for the Seminoles, officially entered the transfer portal on March 27 and committed to Dawn Staley’s powerhouse program on April 8.
The move reunites Latson with her former high school teammate and current Gamecocks point guard, Raven Johnson, who publicly campaigned for her arrival in Columbia.
