CHECK THIS OUT: Arsene Wenger identifies Arsenal’s “advantage” over Man City.

Arsene Wenger, the legendary manager of the Arsenal, has commented on his former club’s chances this season.

Last season, Arsenal and Manchester City battled it out for the Premier League title.

According to Arsene Wenger, Kevin de Bruyne’s injury may give Arsenal an advantage in the race for the Premier League championship.

Last season, Arsenal and Manchester City went head-to-head for the title.

However, the Gunners faltered in the final minutes, allowing Pep Guardiola’s team to win the Premier League for the third time in a row.

However, Arsenal appears to be in for yet another successful season.

They currently have ten points after winning three of their first four games of the year.

However, City has had a perfect start to the season, winning all of its games in the league to take the top spot.

According to legendary former Arsenal manager Wenger, De Bruyne’s long-term injury and Ilkay Gundogan’s departure may put the Gunners in a strong position to win the Premier League this season.

He thinks that Mikel Arteta’s group may stumble occasionally because they are also juggling a Champions League campaign.

The Frenchman insisted on it on David Seaman’s podcast “Seaman Says”: “I felt they [Arsenal] invested serious money in the last four years, they invested a lot of money, but I must say they invested it well.

They still have a talented young team.

“I believe they took lessons from what happened to them the previous year.

That was very difficult for them mentally, and they weren’t able to handle it well.

They would have surely gained some insight from that.

“I also think that City, even though they are a top team—and I don’t disagree with that—have lost De Bruyne and Gundogan for an extended period of time, they might be able to capitalize on the situation even though they are a top team.

However, since we must deal with the Champions League, those points are also lost.”.

Due to the hamstring injury he sustained in City’s opening-day victory over Burnley at Turf Moor, De Bruyne doesn’t appear to be making a quick recovery.

The Belgian playmaker was originally expected to miss a few months, according to Pep Guardiola.

On Saturday at the London Stadium, City will play West Ham in the next round of their title defense.

As they head to Goodison Park to play struggling Everton, Arsenal will be hoping to build on their promising start to the season.

Both City and the Gunners begin their respective Champions League campaigns after those matches. The defending champions of Europe play Cverna Zvezda in their first group match.

They were also paired with RB Leipzig and Young Boys.

For their first Champions League campaign since 2016, Arsenal has been matched up against PSV Eindhoven, Lens, and Sevilla.
