Bukayo Saka is heeding Cristiano Ronaldo’s advice ahead of the North London derby.

Intense rivals Tottenham will present Arsenal with their toughest test of the season when they meet on Sunday at the Emirates.

After being revitalized by new manager Ange Postecoglou, Spurs are going up against their neighbors with a better Premier League standing.

Both north London teams have 13 points after their first five games, but it’s hard to argue that Spurs have made a bigger impression because of how well Postecoglou’s team has adjusted to life without Harry Kane.

That is not to say that Arsenal has been sluggish at the start of the new season.
After the heartbreak of the previous season, some predicted that the Gunners might struggle, but Mikel Arteta’s team now appears to be in contention for victories thanks to their summer acquisitions.

Arsenal enters this weekend’s match with wins over PSV and Manchester United under their belts.
On Wednesday night, they thrashed PSV 4-0 in their Champions League comeback.

As the competition’s first-time participant, Bukayo Saka did not dissapoint, scoring the game’s first goal after just eight minutes to help pave the way for a convincing victory.

Following a visit to London Colney earlier this month, Arsenal legend Ray Parlour said in a statement that the 22-year-old’s professionalism had impressed him.

According to Parlour on talkSPORT, “He’s a massive player for both Arsenal and England.”.

“He never gets hurt, and he is always ready to play.
His constant smile belies his real maturity as a young man.
He has been a complete revelation.
It’s the little things, really.
Each and every player had a day off when I recently visited the practice field. But he had already entered.

He merely stated, “I want to do a little more warm down and get my legs going. He didn’t need to be there, but he was riding a bike.
He is the kind of professional who would say, “I want to go in and take care of myself,” which explains why he plays every week.

“He’s a really good young man.
Even if you’re a stranger and don’t even support Arsenal, I think Saka is liked by everyone because he always has a smile on his face and gives it his all, whether it’s for England or Arsenal; he always wants to put in a good performance.”.

Saka, fortunately for Arsenal and England, doesn’t display any signs of complacency and is always looking for ways to get better.

Players at the top of the game, like five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, frequently exhibit this constant pursuit of excellence. In his final season at Manchester United, Ronaldo criticized some of his teammates’ work habits and questioned why younger players did not share his attitude toward the game.

“I believe there is still much room for improvement because, in my opinion, mentality is the most crucial factor. To look in the mirror and say, “I can do better,” Ronaldo told the Daily Mail.

“I want you to be a professional, help the team, have the right mindset, be self-taught, and be optimistic.
You are in charge of all of these decisions, not the coaches, the audience, or the media. If you have self-respect and are proud of yourself, you must exert much more effort.”.

Mike Phelan, a former United assistant manager, discussed Ronaldo’s attitude earlier this month.

The second time, he arrived much older and much stronger-willed, according to Phelan.
He continued to have extremely high standards and was a pleasure to work with.
But I suppose I’d say a more resilient mindset.

“He had previously played for Man United, Real Madrid, and Portugal as their constant.
He wanted other people’s standards to rise rather than fall, which is why I found it admirable.
Furthermore, when that occurs, you occasionally lose a few people along the way.

“I recall instances where he pushed repeatedly but received little in return.
Frustration followed. When dealing with the very best, it’s all about them, where they can go, and what they can accomplish.”.

Saka has demonstrated, similar to Ronaldo, that he possesses the talent, work ethic, and desire to accomplish all of his football goals, beginning with a victory over Tottenham this weekend.
