ARSENAL RECEIVED BOOST: Man City star Rodri’s dismissal for grabbing an opponent’s throat gives Arsenal a huge boost.

Ahead of Manchester City vs. Arsenal clash.

On October 8, Arsenal will play a Man City team without Rodri.

After receiving a red card against Nottingham Forest, Rodri, a star for Manchester City, will not play against Arsenal in the Premier League on October 8.

After allegedly grabbing Forest playmaker Morgan Gibbs-White by the throat, the midfielder was let go.

Just one minute into the second half, Rodri attempted to shepherd the ball out of play while being pressured by Gibbs-White but appeared to be pushed by the Englishman.

Before things got out of hand, the City star retaliated by pushing his opponent back.

Before pushing Gibbs-White forward, the Spaniard appeared to grab his throat.

Other players sped over to split the pair apart after the Forest man fell to the ground.

Rodri received a straight red card from referee Anthony Taylor for acting violently, which will keep him out of City’s next three games.

Prior to going to Wolves on September 30, Pep Guardiola’s team plays Newcastle on Wednesday.

For City’s Champions League match against RB Leipzig on October 4, Rodri will be available.

The former Atletico Madrid player will be compelled to miss the Premier League match against Arsenal on October 8, which is crucial.
