“It was emotional,” Rice said

When Kai Havertz celebrated his goal in our resounding victory over Bournemouth on Saturday, it was evident how happy the players and supporters were.

After Martin Odegaard was brought down and given a penalty, the German confidently scored from the spot to make it 3-0 and score his first goal for the Gunners.

Declan Rice, a fellow summer signing, was one of the players who surrounded Havertz after his goal, and the loud away fans chanted his name nonstop for the rest of the contest.

Rice remarked that it was a special moment following the final whistle.

We all wanted Kai to succeed, so it was emotional for us all—for the fans, for Kai, and for everyone else involved.

In training, he genuinely puts in a lot of effort every day.

He completely gives everything during games.

He’s had opportunities to score this season but hadn’t done so, but today’s ability to convert a penalty in that high-stress situation demonstrates both his talent and his winning attitude.

I’m so happy for him because his overall performance was so exceptional.

“.

Rice emphasized that the celebrations and Bukayo Saka’s choice to award Havertz the opportunity to take the penalty shot after first handing the ball to Odegaard for the first spot kick demonstrated the team’s camaraderie.

He asserted, “I believe you can see it every day.”.

“We’re a young group of lads who genuinely trust and believe in the manager.

He has brought that atmosphere, as well as the entire atmosphere of the club, including the staff, the players, the Emirates fans, and the fans present today.

It’s such a unique experience.

It’s a real honor to play for this club, and when there are special moments like this, it’s really good.

As I previously stated, that’s why I came to Arsenal.
