Lauryn Goodman appears to be ready to move on from her past with England footballer Kyle Walker, at least when it comes to finding new love.
Kyle Walker faces a new wave of drama as Lauryn Goodman signs up for the dating show Celebs Go Dating during his crucial Euros campaign.
The 33-year-old social media influencer is set to appear on the upcoming season of E4’s Celebs Go Dating, where she’ll be searching for a new romance. However, it’s believed that Lauryn has also agreed to delve into her past relationship with Kyle on the show.
Her participation in the reality series could spell trouble for Kyle’s wife, Annie Kilner, who is desperately trying to move past the affair that almost ended their marriage. An insider suggested that Lauryn is “only going on the show to have another dig at Kyle” and to keep herself in the limelight.
A close friend of Lauryn, however, stated: “Lauryn going on the show is a big step and shows that what happened with Kyle is very much in the past. She is genuinely looking forward to the dating aspect.”
The friend continued, “That said, you can bet Kyle’s ears will be burning when the show airs, as his name is sure to come up frequently. Lauryn is excited to be part of the show and just wants to have fun, but if she can meet a new man or potential boyfriend, that would be a bonus.” Filming for the show is expected to take place later this summer.
As England full-back Kyle, who is also 33, gears up for England’s next match in the Euros, he has two children with Lauryn. He confirmed he was the father of Lauryn’s daughter in January, while his wife Annie was pregnant with their fourth child. He had previously fathered a son, Kairo, with Lauryn during a brief separation from Annie in 2020.
In a candid interview in January, Kyle acknowledged his mistakes, saying: “What I’ve done is horrible, and I take full responsibility. I made idiot choices and idiot decisions. I can’t begin to think or imagine what Annie is going through.”
He added, “The only person to blame is me. I have roles and responsibilities that I’m aware of, and I’ve made stupid choices. But I need to own up to my mistakes — I owe it to everyone. My actions have caused a lot of pain to a lot of people. I’m sorry because, as a family, this isn’t meant to happen.”
As Kyle attempts to move forward, Lauryn might bring her children to the Euros to watch their dad play for England. Recent reports suggest she may attend an England match soon. Her son Kairo has been seen wearing the current England kit with ‘Daddy’ and the number two on the back.
Since confirming he was the father of Lauryn’s second child, Manchester City star Walker has been working to reconcile with his wife, Annie. After being kicked out of their family home for four months, he is now back in their £3.5 million home in Prestbury, Cheshire, hoping to rebuild their relationship.
For England’s first Euro match against Serbia, Annie Kilner arrived in Germany by private jet with three of their four children—Roman, 11, Riaan, 7, and Reign, 5—while their baby, Rezon, stayed home.
In February, it was reported that Lauryn was in talks to star in a reality series about wannabe WAGs, focusing on women who have dated or been married to footballers. However, her involvement in Celebs Go Dating is likely to delay any other TV projects.
Last month, Lauryn hinted at a potential move to Dubai with her two children, asking her Instagram followers if Dubai was a good place to live with kids.
