Martin Odegaard, an Arsenal player, reacts to Man City loss before a Premier League match.

This weekend’s crucial Premier League matchup between Manchester City and Arsenal will be held at the Emirates Stadium.

Martin Odegaard, the captain of Arsenal, is resisting the urge to celebrate after Wolves shocked Manchester City 2-1 on Saturday.

City suffered a narrow loss in the Black Country, dropping points for the first time this year. A stunning free kick from Julian Alvarez, an own goal by Ruben Dias, and goals from Hwang Hee-chan and Hwang Hee-chan on either side of it gave the home team the victory.

As soon as City made a mistake, Arsenal pounced, defeating Bournemouth 4-0 at the Vitality Stadium to close the gap on Pep Guardiola’s team to just one point, setting the stage for their upcoming match.

On Sunday afternoon at the Emirates Stadium, the two title contenders will square off.

Although both teams must first complete their midweek Champions League matches, Sunday’s eagerly anticipated match in north London promises to be a crucial contest for both.

Odegaard, who scored in the Gunners’ victory at Bournemouth, has hinted that it won’t matter that City enters the game coming off a league loss.

In a post-game interview, Odegaard, as cited by football, responded to City’s loss at Molineux.

” I recently heard, But once more, we must pay attention to ourselves.

This league is so difficult. You assert that anyone can defeat anybody and that you must be alert and prepared for every game because your schedule is so full right now.

“As a result, we must put our attention inward and prepare for the coming week.

“.

Together with their rivals from north London, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal is one of only two teams that has yet to lose in the Premier League this season. The Gunners are currently in third place, trailing second-place Spurs on goal differential, after winning five and drawing two of their first seven games.

Arsenal has only won two of their first four home league games this season, so City should take heart from that fact.

In the league this season, they have also yet to maintain a clean sheet on their home field.

Manchester City is on a new mission: to win back-to-back European championships after winning their first Champions League trophy last season!

Blues supporters will never forget that unforgettable night in Istanbul, but now is a new beginning as Pep Guardiola and his team attempt to establish a dynasty in the league.
