Journalist Fabrizio Romano on his official account on X claims that Manchester City is in internal talks about a transfer agreement for Girona forward Savio.
Romano notes in his post below that there is a lot of interest in the young Brazilian talent who has shown a lot of promise in La Liga this year. Savio is expected to remain where he is until the end of the season, so nothing seems imminent, but it does appear that City is eager to get ahead of Premier League and Bundesliga teams in the race to sign the 19-year-old.
Savio seems like a great addition to Pep Guardiola’s team, and since both parties are a part of the City Group, it will be interesting to see how easy it is for the club to complete this deal.
In any case, it appears that this is a story that is well worth following in the near future. One can only assume that this would give City an advantage over other teams.
