Angel Reese Breaks Silence with Emotional Message to Ex-Teammate After WNBA Bombshell

Chicago Sky standout Angel Reese is gearing up for her second season in the WNBA, following a sensational rookie year. In her debut campaign, Reese finished as the Rookie of the Year runner-up, coming in just behind Indiana Fever phenom Caitlin Clark. She also earned a coveted spot on the WNBA All-Star team, joining Clark as one of only two rookies selected.

As the new rookie class prepares to enter the league, one name is already standing out—Aneesah Morrow, Reese’s former LSU teammate, who is expected to be a top selection in the 2025 WNBA Draft, which begins Monday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Ahead of the big night, Reese took to social media with a heartfelt message for Morrow, writing:
“Dreams to reality 24.”

The two stars shared the court during the 2023–24 women’s college basketball season at LSU, building strong chemistry that helped power the Tigers deep into the NCAA Tournament.

Angel Reese wrapped up her college career with two seasons each at LSU and Maryland, boasting impressive averages of 18.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.

Meanwhile, in her final season with LSU, Aneesah Morrow posted standout numbers—18.7 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game—leading the Tigers to the Elite Eight, where they ultimately fell to UCLA. Before that loss, LSU notched victories over San Diego State, Florida State, and NC State in the tournament.

Now, as Morrow prepares to take the next step into the WNBA, she does so with the support of one of the league’s rising stars already in her corner.
