WNBA Preseason Begins: Former and Future Gamecocks Hit the Court — Here’s How to Watch
The WNBA preseason tips off this Friday night, and there’s plenty for South Carolina Gamecocks fans to keep an eye on — including a glimpse of a future star in action.
To kick things off, the WNBA League Pass is offering a free preview during the preseason, giving fans access to every game, including several matchups featuring former Gamecocks standouts and incoming freshman Ayla McDowell.
Ayla McDowell, who will join the Gamecocks this fall, is suiting up for the Brazilian national team in a series of games against WNBA squads — a rare opportunity for any incoming college player. While McDowell has already made waves on the spring all-star circuit, going up against professionals will present a unique challenge and invaluable experience.
