Aliyah Boston closed out her third WNBA season with a heartfelt message of gratitude and hope for the future after the Indiana Fever’s season-ending 107-98 overtime loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday night.
Sharing a carousel of photos from the 2025 season on Instagram, Boston reflected on the journey that tested the Fever’s limits and bonded them as a team.
“Szn 3✅ truly a year for growth but honestly my fav year yet!” Boston wrote. “My Fever girlssss made this year so much fun and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us in the future❤️ God is great all the time.”
Her post quickly drew love from her teammates, who rallied behind the star center. Caitlin Clark replied, “I love you let’s go crazy in year 4,” while Sophie Cunningham added, “Our sassy, sarcastic queen 😍❤️.”
Veteran forward Natasha Howard also praised her frontcourt partner: “You was amazing this whole season. I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to play with you this year. Love you AB ❤️.”
Sydney Colson, sidelined by injury in August, dropped a classic playful comment — “BOW BOW BOW.” Kelsey Mitchell, Boston’s running mate all season, wrote, “I love you forever, big baby.🤌🏾❤️.”
Aari McDonald added a touching note: “My girl 🥹 I’m so proud of you.💗.” Even the Fever’s official account joined in, commenting, “What a year AB! 👑.”

Despite losing several key players to injury — including Clark and Cunningham — Boston and Mitchell kept the Fever’s playoff hopes alive. Both All-Stars carried the load for an injury-plagued roster, showcasing resilience and leadership beyond their years.
Their fight culminated in a Cinderella playoff run. The Fever stunned the Atlanta Dream in back-to-back elimination games to reach the semifinals against the powerhouse Las Vegas Aces.
Though no analyst gave them a chance, the Fever pushed the defending champs to the limit, forcing a decisive Game 5. Even after Mitchell exited with cramps and Boston fouled out late in the fourth quarter, Indiana battled into overtime before falling short 107-98.
It was a heartbreaking finish — but one that spoke volumes about the team’s grit and promise.
For Boston, the season may have ended, but her optimism hasn’t faded. Her message was clear: this was just the beginning.
