The first official injury report of the week is in — and both South Carolina and LSU are dealing with significant roster concerns ahead of Saturday night’s primetime SEC clash in Baton Rouge.
For the Gamecocks, offensive line depth continues to be a pressing issue. Markee Anderson has been officially ruled out, while fellow linemen Nolan Hay and Cason Henry are both doubtful for the matchup. On the defensive side, the secondary is banged up as well, with Myles Norwood and Judge Collier listed as questionable, and defensive tackle Troy Pikes also uncertain for action.
Over in Baton Rouge, LSU is facing its own set of injury setbacks. Defensive end Gabriel Reliford has been ruled out, and lineman Paul Mubenga is listed as doubtful. Wide receiver Aaron Anderson’s status remains questionable, while defensive tackle Ahmad Breaux and running back Caden Durham are both probable to play.
Both squads are coming off a bye week, giving them extra time to recover before what promises to be a crucial SEC showdown under the lights at Death Valley.
