Robinson is one of several South Carolina recruiting targets — across multiple classes — to appear on the Sporting News list. She’s among three known prospects in the 2026 cycle that Dawn Staley and her staff are still pursuing, together with French standout Alicia Tournebize and Spanish forward Sara Okeke. Reports indicate that South Carolina, LSU, and UConn make up Robinson’s final three schools.
Her selection to the first team reflects her versatile skill set. At 6-foot-1, Robinson is a five-star talent capable of playing nearly every perimeter position at an elite level, though she is expected to settle into a guard role at the collegiate level. According to the Rivals Industry Ranking, she sits as the No. 3 overall player in the class of 2026, ranks No. 2 nationally among combo guards, and holds the top overall ranking in the state of California.

South Carolina currently has two signees in its 2026 class: post player Kelsi Andrews and multi-position wing Kaeli Wynn, both of whom inked with the Gamecocks during the early signing period. Robinson and others remain key priorities as the spring signing window approaches.
The Gamecocks are also heavily involved with several standouts in upcoming recruiting classes. In the class of 2027, first-team guard Kaleena Smith, second-team forward Jordyn Palmer, and wings Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka (second team) and Micah Ojo (third team) are all USC targets. South Carolina also has its eye on class of 2028 guard Tatianna Griffin, a second-team pick entering her sophomore season — and a teammate of Smith at Ontario Christian in California.
South Carolina’s presence throughout the Sporting News preseason All-American list reflects the program’s continued reach and influence as it targets the next wave of elite talent.
