“OFFICIAL: Hurray! Gamecocks Nation, LaNorris Sellers CLEARED ”

After days of speculation and conflicting practice reports, South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers has been cleared to play in Saturday’s road clash with the Missouri Tigers.

Sellers was absent from Friday’s official SEC availability report, which signals he is tentatively active for the matchup. Earlier in the week, his status had fluctuated — listed as questionable on Wednesday before being upgraded to probable by Thursday’s update. One final report will be released 90 minutes before kickoff, so there remains a slim chance his status could still change.

While his availability doesn’t guarantee a start, multiple reports indicate that is indeed the expectation. Notably, Sellers has only dropped three games in his career when playing every snap at quarterback.

Also appearing as probable are wide receiver Mazeo Bennett and defensive back DQ Smith. On the other hand, DB Judge Collier and tight end Michael Smith have officially been ruled out. For Collier, who injured his knee in the season opener against Virginia Tech, this will be his third straight absence.

Kickoff for South Carolina vs. Missouri is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. EDT on Saturday
