“F— South Carolina!”: Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia Disrespect and Takes Viral Shot at South Carolina Ahead of SEC Showdown”

Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia Takes Shot at South Carolina During Practice With Theo Von & iShowSpeed

Vanderbilt’s Week 3 clash with South Carolina already had plenty of intrigue — and now quarterback Diego Pavia has added some bulletin-board material.

During a Commodores practice earlier this month, internet stars Theo Von and iShowSpeed were invited to join the session. At the end of practice, Pavia told the duo to break down the huddle with an explicit shot at his next opponent.

“Win on three, or f— South Carolina on three, whatever you wanna do,” Pavia said.

iShowSpeed quickly reacted: “Dang, what did South Carolina do?” before ultimately going with the safer “win on three.” Still, the jab toward the Gamecocks was loud enough to get fans talking — and the clip has since gone viral.

Pavia’s Hot Start Fuels Confidence

The Commodores have stormed out to a 2-0 start, routing Charleston Southern before rallying past Virginia Tech with 34 unanswered points. Pavia has been the engine of that success, throwing for 468 yards and five touchdowns across the first two games.

That confidence is carrying into Columbia, where Vanderbilt will attempt to do something it hasn’t done since 2008 — beat South Carolina.

“Obviously, it would mean a lot (to win),” Pavia said earlier this week. “We’re not focused on the streak. We know we can beat them, and we’re gonna go in there and do it.”

Bad Blood and Extra Motivation

The Commodores haven’t defeated the Gamecocks in nearly two decades, with South Carolina riding a 16-game win streak in the series. Pavia also remembers his own struggles in last year’s matchup — a 28-7 South Carolina win where he was limited to 166 yards passing with a season-low 96.6 QB rating.

That frustration, plus the Commodores’ fast start, has given Vanderbilt plenty of added motivation heading into Saturday night’s primetime SEC showdown.

Whether his viral huddle breakdown fires up his own team or only fuels South Carolina’s defense remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: Pavia isn’t backing down.
