Gamecock Recruiting Targets on the Move in Latest 2026 Rankings
Rivals released its updated 2026 women’s basketball recruiting rankings on Wednesday, and several South Carolina targets shifted positions.
Forward Oliviyah Edwards and post Olivia Vukosa swapped spots in the top five, with Vukosa now ranked No. 4 and Edwards sliding to No. 5. The Gamecocks remain in the mix for both, as Edwards is scheduled for her official visit to Columbia the weekend of September 19, while Vukosa has yet to set a date.
Elsewhere in the top 10, Jordyn Jackson, who recently committed to Maryland, climbed to No. 8, pushing Brihanna Crittendon—a player holding a South Carolina offer—down to No. 9. The rest of the top group stayed unchanged, with Jerzy Robinson holding steady at No. 3, McKenna Woliczko—fresh off her official visit to Columbia in June—remaining at No. 6, and Trinity Jones, another Gamecock target, staying at No. 7.
In the top 20, Lola Lampley, who earned a Gamecock offer earlier this summer, slipped one spot to No. 18. Amari Byles moved up to No. 19, followed by Kelsi Andrews at No. 20.
Further down the list, Emily McDonald—another South Carolina target—fell from No. 36 to No. 49. Despite the dip, she was one of ESPN’s biggest summer risers, showing the variance between recruiting services.
Meanwhile, one of the largest leaps came from point guard Aaliah Spaight. Previously ranked in the 70s, the Las Vegas native skyrocketed to No. 50 after a breakout summer that earned her offers from South Carolina, LSU, and several other national powers.
