South Carolina’s Jessica Jackson Wins Prestigious Impact Award at National Recruiting Event
One of college football’s top professional development events has honored a key member of South Carolina’s football staff.
Jessica Jackson, South Carolina’s Director of On-Campus Recruiting, received the Impact Award at this year’s Personnel & Recruiting Symposium in Nashville — a premier annual event for recruiting and personnel professionals across college football.

Jackson, who joined the Gamecocks in January 2016 under then-head coach Will Muschamp and remained on board with Shane Beamer’s staff, plays a vital role in South Carolina’s recruiting efforts.
According to her official bio, Jackson is responsible for overseeing official and unofficial visits, maintaining compliance documentation, organizing gameday recruiting operations, and managing a database with more than 12,000 recruits. She also serves as the program’s eligibility center liaison and helps ensure smooth onboarding and transitions for new players. Her work has contributed to the recruitment of over 30 players now active in the NFL.

Jackson began her career in football recruiting at the University of Alabama, where she worked as a recruiting and operations assistant. She later earned her MBA from LSU in 2021 and most recently completed her MEd from the University of South Carolina in 2025.
The Personnel and Recruiting Symposium is held annually in Nashville and brings together recruiting and personnel staffers from across the nation. The three-day event features panels, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities designed to “educate, connect, and empower” professionals within the industry.
Focused on innovation and strategy, the symposium continues to serve as a hub for best practices and emerging trends that shape the future of college football recruiting.
