As the November signing period unfolds, much of the recruiting buzz has centered on the 2026 class. But South Carolina is quietly gaining momentum with one of the premier players in the 2027 cycle.
Rising 6-foot-5 post Caroline Bradley revealed her top ten schools on November 13, and the Gamecocks made the cut. Her list also features Alabama, Kentucky, Notre Dame, LSU, Texas A&M, Duke, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, and UCLA.
Hailing from Oak Grove, Louisiana, a small town in the state’s northeast region, Bradley is widely regarded as the top center in the 2027 class. She sits sixth in the Rivals Industry Comparison, including a No. 3 overall ranking from ESPN, No. 5 from 247Sports, and No. 9 from Rivals.
Bradley has already been active on the recruiting trail. She recently attended Kentucky’s Big Blue Madness and has made several unofficial trips to LSU, which is seen as the early frontrunner to keep the talented post player in-state.
Still, South Carolina has made a strong impression. Back in August, Bradley told On3’s Talia Goodman that the Gamecocks’ track record of developing dominant post players stands out.
“Coach [Dawn] Staley is great,” Bradley said. “Once again, she believes in a play style of playing through the post and things like that, which is really important to me. So that’s been super great, too.”
Bradley already has an impressive résumé. As a sophomore, she earned Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year, averaging 21.8 points, 15.1 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 2.3 assists.
She also shined on the international stage. During the 2025 FIBA U16 AmeriCup in Mexico, Bradley helped Team USA capture the gold medal. Coming off the bench, she contributed 7.5 points and a team-high 8.3 rebounds per game.
Looking ahead, Bradley plans to continue scheduling unofficial visits throughout the fall. She has not yet shared whether a trip to South Carolina is on the horizon—or when it might happen.
